We may collect certain personal, transactional, technical, and listing-related information when you use the Ottodeals Platform. This may include your mobile number, city/location details, dealer login credentials, OTP verification information, IP address, and device-related information.

When sellers list a vehicle on Ottodeals, we may collect vehicle-related information including vehicle details, pricing information, photographs, and other information voluntarily provided by the seller for listing purposes.

For payment processing, we may collect limited payment-related information through third-party payment service providers, including PhonePe Payment Gateway or any other payment gateway partner that may be introduced, replaced, or modified by Ottodeals in the future at our sole discretion. Ottodeals reserves the right to change, update, add, or discontinue any payment gateway provider without prior notice.

Ottodeals does not directly store complete debit card details, credit card information, UPI PINs, banking passwords, or other highly sensitive financial credentials.

We may also automatically collect technical and usage-related information such as browser type, device information, IP address, login activity, session data, visited pages, interaction history, and time spent on the Platform in order to improve services, platform performance, fraud prevention, and user experience.

How We Collect Information

We collect information directly when you register on Ottodeals, verify your account through mobile OTP, list a vehicle, purchase seller contact details, contact customer support, submit queries, or otherwise interact with the Platform.

Certain information may also be collected automatically through cookies, analytics tools, website logs, device identifiers, and tracking technologies used to improve functionality, platform performance, security, fraud prevention, and user experience.

We may also receive limited information from third-party service providers, including payment providers, analytics partners, fraud prevention systems, hosting providers, or other technology partners assisting in operation of the Platform.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected from users for operating, maintaining, improving, and securing the Ottodeals Platform. Your information may be used to create and manage accounts, verify identities through OTP, facilitate vehicle listings, enable dealer lead access, process payments, and provide support-related services.

We may communicate with you through SMS, WhatsApp, phone calls, notifications, or email regarding account activity, listing status, dealer access, payment confirmations, service updates, platform announcements, customer support matters, and promotional communications.

Your information may also be used to improve platform functionality, personalize user experience, understand customer behavior, analyze usage patterns, detect fraud or misuse, enhance security, and improve our products and services.

In certain circumstances, information may be used or disclosed to comply with legal obligations, law enforcement requests, fraud investigations, dispute resolution, regulatory requirements, or enforcement of our legal rights, policies, and agreements.

By using Ottodeals, you expressly consent to the collection, storage, processing, and use of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Seller Contact Sharing

By listing a vehicle on Ottodeals, sellers expressly understand and consent that their contact details may be shared with registered dealers only after successful payment and lead purchase by such dealer. Seller information is shared solely to facilitate direct communication regarding the listed vehicle.

Fees & Platform Transactions

Ottodeals may charge sellers a listing fee, currently ₹99, to publish a vehicle listing on the Platform. Unless otherwise specified, listing fees are non-refundable.

Dealers may be required to pay a lead access fee, for example ₹499, to unlock seller contact details. Payment for lead access does not guarantee seller response, seller availability, vehicle availability, vehicle accuracy, deal completion, or vehicle condition. Ottodeals acts solely as a lead marketplace platform and is not involved in the final negotiation or transaction.

Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Ottodeals may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain secure login sessions, improve platform functionality, analyze traffic and usage patterns, personalize user experience, improve security, and optimize Platform performance. By continuing to use Ottodeals, users consent to the use of cookies and related technologies.

Sharing of Information with Third Parties

We may share user information with payment service providers, hosting partners, analytics providers, fraud detection partners, cloud service providers, technology vendors, and other authorized service providers assisting in Platform operations. Such parties are expected to process information only for authorized purposes and maintain appropriate confidentiality standards.

We may also disclose information where required to comply with applicable law, court orders, legal proceedings, law enforcement requests, regulatory authorities, fraud investigations, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Ottodeals, users, or third parties.

Data Security

Ottodeals takes commercially reasonable technical, physical, and administrative measures to safeguard user information from unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no website, digital platform, internet transmission, or electronic storage method can be guaranteed to be fully secure, and users acknowledge such inherent risks.

Data Retention

Ottodeals may retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, maintain records, and enforce agreements or policies.

Accuracy & Updating Information

Users are encouraged to ensure that information provided to Ottodeals remains accurate and updated. Requests regarding correction or updating of information may be made by contacting us.

Marketing Communications & Opt-Out

Ottodeals may send promotional messages, updates, offers, feature announcements, and service-related communications. Users may request to opt out of marketing communications; however, transactional communications relating to accounts, payments, listings, and lead purchases may continue where necessary.

The Platform may contain links to third-party websites, services, or digital properties not controlled by Ottodeals. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, accuracy, content, or policies of such third-party platforms, and users are advised to review their respective privacy policies.

Account Deletion

Users may request account deletion by contacting ottodeals2026@gmail.com. However, Ottodeals may retain certain information where reasonably necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or business record purposes.

Updates to this Policy

Ottodeals reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. Updated versions shall be published on the Platform with the revised effective date. Continued use of the Platform following such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.
